I remember the dorms in college – living in Stroup and Edna Moore (Edna Corpening Moore, according to JoDee) were some of my fondest memories. It was so cool to walk out of your bedroom and find a friend to hang out with anytime of day or night. My life revolved around my friends and the different interests I had (and that I was introduced to.) I’m not sure at what point my senior year of college things changed, but I lost touch with some of the cooler people I had known. And then came graduation, and everyone went their separate ways.
Along comes myspace, and this website. In the past week I’ve reconnected with about five different people – from high school to college. It’s been surreal.
Tonight, I hung out with friends I met through work. I love how we have all come from different areas of the country and met through the same workplace, are able to put work aside for a few hours and enjoy each other’s company.
I dig my friends 🙂 I can’t wait to find more “old” friends!
