NaBloPoMo: 30 days of thankfulness #30DaysOfThanks #NaBloPoMo
It’s National Blog Post Month, where many bloggers (writers) vow to blog every day for the entire month of November….and possibly end up with a novel – or close to it – by the end of the month.
I’m here to blog daily and combine a few of my favorite things….writing on my blog and counting my blessings. So for the next 30 days, I will be posting what I am thankful for. I’m hoping to blog daily (they could be super short posts, or really in-depth, more meaningful posts.) If I don’t blog daily, I’ll combine my thanks into a post. I have way more than 30 things to be thankful for.
If you’d like to post thankful posts this month, I’m opening up a linkup so we can all join in on the thankful fun. Just please comment on one other blog if you link up. (This way we’re sharing the blog love.)
So…..are we ready?
Day 1 – I’m thankful for new days, new months and new beginnings. I love that I can kind of start over each day and I try to forget the negative stuff from the previous day/week.
Ā Are you participating in NaBloPoMo or 30 Days of Thanks/Gratitude this month?
I am thankful for new starts, too. Although our November started out with some snow, so that’s not a great start if you ask me.
I hear you on the snow bit. We also got snow. (Not cool, November. Not cool AT ALL.)
I am thankful for so many things. What a wonderful meme idea!
I’m actually not participating but I have a few blogger friends who are. Here’s to making it all the way through.
What a great theme for November posts! I am thankful for new beginnings too. Next up would be my good health and my family and my family’s good health.
Great idea. I’ve joined NaBloPoMo too and added this to my writing prompt section of my sign up post so I can linkup with you! Stopping by from NC Blogger Network.
Thanks for stopping by!! š
I didn’t participate in it this month because I just have to much going on right now without adding anymore to it! I think it’s a wonderful idea to actually write down what we are thankful for and to start over each day fresh. Good luck and I can’t wait to read more!
This is the perfect topic for this time of year. I am thankful that through all the stress and issues we have had since our relocation that my family is still standing strong and together.
I’m always cheered by fresh starts and beginnings too. I did post one year every day during NaBloPoMo, but it’s been a long time.
30 Days of Thanks, I like it! I’ll be following you closely this month! š
I’m thankful for a lot of things! I hope people continue to be thankful past this 30 day challenge though
I definitely agree! I tend to do Thankful Thursday posts throughout the year, so this won’t be a one-month of thanks from me. š
I have tried to be a part of thankful threads and posts, I am horrible at keeping up with them. I am, however, thankful for a lot of stuff.
I’m supposed to be doing nanowrimo right now. I’m too busy to write in it. I better get started before i get too far behind.
Clean slates are so good for the soul! Here is to November and the great things it wi bring
This sounds like a fun idea. I usually blog 6/7 days a week. I need one day to test and prepare all the new toys for the coming week.
I have to admit I only heard of NaBloPoMo a day or so before the month started – I think it’s a fantastic idea and I love the idea of 30 days of thankfulness as well. I don’t stop and think about that enough sometimes. x
I’m doing NaBloPoMo, too, and love that you’re dedicating it to 30 days of thankfulness. I’m looking forward to following along!
Every year I’d like to do the 30 days of thanks, and I always think about it sevearl days into the month, and am not very consistent with posting. Maybe I need to do it a week at a time. I’m a so grateful to be alive and relatively healthy!
A week at a time is totally do-able. That’s why I’m giving myself an out!
I am thankful that I still have all my family together. This is a great way to share.
I think this is a wonderful thing to be thankful for.
#0 days of thanks is such a great idea. It can be hard to remember what you are thankful for. This reminds us to be thankful for all the little things in life.
That is such an awesome gratitude practice!
I love this time of year. I love seeing everyone’s lists!
What a great idea! I have so much to be Thankful for š
I’m thankful for all the great people in my life.
I’m thankful for new starts too! I am also thankful for November or I would never get any writing done as I do NaNoWriMo and push my novel writing skills to the limit.
I love this. I LOVE it! I can’t wait to read the next 29 days. We should all be thankful for what we have. We could all have much, much less.
As a mom, I too am thankful for new beginnings each day. There are nights I am so thankful the day is over and can’t wait for the new day to start over!
I think this is an awesome thing to do. Looking forward to reading your daily posts!
This is a great post! I like the idea of writing about what you are thankful for. Count those blessings!
I love new beginnings and I feel like I need one because I literally feel like things just flow from one day to the next. Good luck on blogging every single day this month.
New starts are awesome! Definitely something to be thankful for. Especially since that means that you’re still around. š
I’m doing a 30 days of thanks on my Facebook page. #30thx I’m also working on a thankful post. So I hope to link up soon. So many things to be thankful for.
