nice meal out
Every meal was eaten out in Hawaii, but there was one night that Jason made reservations for us at a pretty upscale restaurant. The restaurant was Roy’s. And I believe Jason said something along the lines that if the food wasn’t good there, it wouldn’t be good anywhere.
When we arrived, we were seated right away. I thought it was weird when I was seated, and everyone received a napkin in their laps, besides me (and Karen.) The napkins were purple, and since Karen and I were wearing white, they got us white napkins, so the purple wouldn’t end up on our outfits. They thought of everything – and that pretty much told me what kind of restaurant we were dealing with.
The following are a lot of pictures of our food and drinks. You were warned.
My drink was something with pineapple. I can’t remember the name of the drink, but I can almost taste it when I look at the photo. (I had a couple of these drinks. They were fab.u.lous.)
A drink that my mom and Karen had. (I think they both ordered this one)
Edamame (they gave it out like Olive Garden gives you breadsticks.)
Below was my dinner:
And this was my dessert. You ordered dessert before your meal, so they could prepare it. Yum.
I can’t remember what Karen was saying to that man, but it was funny. Trust me.

Oooh pineapple plantation is so cool. I had no idea they grew on the ground before that…. š
