not an ordinary day…
I compiled a gallery from the past year of my life. It’s interesting. I don’t remember much about my 29th birthday, but I do know that 13 days later I was married. So. I started my gallery off with a few wedding pictures!
Over the past year, a lot has happened. The wedding, vacations to the Bahamas, Nashville, Toronto, Buffalo, Charleston, interviews with people like Kate Nash, Edwin McCain (always a favorite of mine), Matt Nathanson (my very, very favorite), Gavin DeGraw, James Blunt (among others), and coverage of big events such as the upcoming election (and following Barack Obama around for two days.) It’s been a fun year.
And I think 30 is going to be pretty huge. Hopefully we’ll be buying a house (sooner, rather than later), there’s a chance I may run two marathons next year, and if all works out, we’ll head to Seattle in June. Keeping my fingers crossed…
For today, though, I’m just relaxing. May get crafty, or productive, and I’m definitely having lunch and dinner out with friends and family. Fun stuff. And I plan on taking more pictures…
Happy Birthday! I watched your gallery. It is way cool and you have done a ton of cool stuff this year. Maybe this next year will be just as eventful but less stressful!
Wow….what a year! Hard to believe your anniversary is coming up! So glad I was able to be witness to some of these events (and yes I saw that WONDERFUL pic of me)
Heres hoping the next year in the life is full of new and exciting adventures!
Happy Birthday!
Julez
Happy Birthday, hope it’s a great one!
Happy Late Birthday! Nice pics. Why does it never appear that you went the whole year without experiencing winter?
P.S. Remember your 25th birthday? One word: Dreamsicles!
It never really snowed here, and when it did, the snow melted before I could take a picture. Seriously. Our winters kind of blow.
And I do remember my 25th birthday. I recall Bekki commenting, “I hope that’s not some kid’s bus stop in the morning.” Rest assured, I did not drink last night. I ate a lot of italian food, but drank no alcohol. It was very refreshing!
