….obviously I haven’t been working out lately, and it’s working for me! I wanted to take more than a week off after running the marathon and I’ve done that well. I’ve been super lazy and all of the rain we’ve had the past 10 days has helped me NOT walk the dogs! I think I’ve walked them 3 times in over a week because of the weather.
It all ends tomorrow, though.
I ordered Jillian Michaels’ 30 day shred DVD and I plan on beginning it tomorrow. I’m also going to ease back into running.
My issue with running right now? My toes. My shoes have GOT to be replaced asap. I have three toenails that are bruised and will most likely fall off at a very inopportune time (summer – flip-flop season!) and I’m mad. I had one toe do this in 2007, and I lucked out last year. I need to go up half of a size in my shoes. I kind of don’t want to start running again this week because of my shoe issues, but I do need to get back out there….especially if we’re running another half marathon next month.
At least I have the new DVD. I’ve read great things about it and I’m pretty psyched to get started. I want to be so toned this summer 🙂
