Old School Blogging: Life questions #OSBlog #blogging
Old school blogging is back! (I’m just late to the game this month and am not technically linking up.) These are some of my favorite posts. They get back to why I really started blogging the early years – who doesn’t love answering random questions??
Are you young at heart or an old soul?
I think I’m young at heart. I definitely love to have fun and if I’m with a group of really great friends, I’ll make sure we’re all having a fabulous time. I love to revisit activities from my childhood.
Tell me about a movie/book that has changed your life.
I remember so many movies and love many movies (so much that I own them), but not one stands out as having changed my life. I don’t know why. ‘Hands Free Mama’ is by far the book that has changed my life – since becoming a mom.
Would you like to reconnect with any friends you’ve lost contact with?
I have friends from elementary school (pre-move to North Carolina) who I’ve reconnected with on Facebook. It’s not the same. I see just bits and pieces of their lives. Late last year, I tracked down a friend I went to camp with every year. She’s not on Facebook, and we emailed each other a few times. Hopefully we can catch up in person one day.
Where was your favorite place to go when you were a little kid?
I remember going to my grandparents farm in the summers. I had several cousins to play with there and it was a blast.
Do you enjoy being with only one or two friends, or with a large group of people?
I’m good with being with one or two people or large groups. I think I enjoy one or two friends because there’s more of a chance to connect versus being with a large group.
What’s your “quirkiest” habit?
I had the hardest time with this one. I’ll have to come back to it.
What do you use more often: your intuition or logical reasoning?
Logical reasoning. I think it’s annoying, but I will weigh pros and cons for most of my decisions.
Where is your favorite place to go out and eat?
Tupelo Honey. We rarely get there, and their menu has changed over the past couple of years, so it’s beginning to slide down my list. I used to LOVE eating at Carrabba’s. I had them on speed dial and during my single days, I’d get food to go and it wasn’t overpriced. Their menus have also changed and it’s just not the same.
What was the last song that was stuck in your head?
Andy Grammer’s “Honey, I’m Good.” I love this song. It prompted me to buy the album (which I’d recommend.)
Give me the story of your life in six words. Longtime runner, cat-lover, traveler, friend.
Do you have a quirky habit? Tell me about it, please. 😉 (And I would totally link up, but I’m late with this posting. In any case, check out Elaine’s blog just about every month for more Old School Blogging!)
i’ve never been to tupelo honey’s. we’ve got one in knoxville and everyone raves about it though.
It’s really good! It has definitely changed since they opened years and years ago, but still very good.
Story of my life in 6 words? Here it is. I am a total animal lover.
Oh I love it! (And I love animals.)
I’m just like you. I would love to reconnect with friends that I’ve lost contact with from elementary school. Connecting on FB sure is different. Love this kind of posts.
My life in 6 words? I can be a passionate person!
This is hard. ..6 words
Traveling mommy wanderer searching for truth.
I loved going to my grandparents during the summer as well. It is one of my fondest childhood memories.
