If you could be on a reality show which one would you choose?
I would want to be on an HGTV show. It would be great to have someone flip my house. (Yes, the entire house.) Oh, or maybe I could be on Real Housewives of NYC – I love NYC and I used to love watching that show. I’d love to hang out with those catty women.
Name one thing you have saved from your childhood?
I have a bear named Rosebud. I remember receiving it when I had tubes put in my ears. I still have her.
If your life had a theme song what would it be?
Alive by Edwin McCain. My favorite lyric is “You take the good and the bad, and the time in between. Lets us know we’re alive.” A friend of mine had that phrase put on a pillow for me. I love it.
Where is your happy place?
Running. Or the beach. Or running on the beach. My happy place tends to change. Sometimes my happy place can be the playground with my boy. Other times it’s the open road, running with friends.
What is one thing about your home that you and your spouse disagree on?
When things need to be replaced. My husband is definitely the saver of the two of us, and disagrees with me when things need updating or replacing.
What is your favorite fruit?
Strawberries. I tried to grow strawberries when I was pregnant, just so I’d have an endless amount of berries. The plants didn’t work out great, and I just bought gallons of them when they were in season.
Bowtie or regular tie?
I love bow ties on guys! My husband tends to wear regular ties, and I bought snap-on bow ties for my son two years ago. I think the bow ties are super adorable. (And can look really cool on men.)
Mexican or Italian (food, not men)?
Italian – food and men. š Seriously, Italian food is my weakness. The pasta, the bread, the garlic. I want it all.
Where do you want to go on Summer vacation?
I would love for us to return to the beach. I’m not sure if it’ll happen this summer. We haven’t really discussed it yet.
What are your go-to shoes in your closet?
Asics running shoes. I have a pair of black heels I wear almost every day for work. And if I’m not in those, I’m generally wearing my running shoes. (My “retired” ones since my current running shoes are only worn for actual running.) During the summer, I like to wear my glittery Toms shoes!
My hubs and I are actually opposite. I have the hoarding/ let’s fix it mentality which is a bit dangerous. I have to keep it in check– he would rather go buy a new one….. probably b/c when I say “let’s fix it” it means he fixes it š
i need a new pair of black heels – have for months. running shoes, however – i currently have 4 pair in the rotation.
