out of sorts

What a week, and it’s only Tuesday.

Today was my grandpa’s 80th birthday. My uncle and cousin drove down from New York over the weekend to surprise him, and family joined for dinner at my grandparents’ house. It was a good time. I wish there were fewer states between New York and North Carolina.

I’m a bachelorette for a few days. I hate trying to fall asleep in an empty house. At least I have Chloe to keep me up keep me company.

I discovered tonight that I can renew my library books online. This is going to save me 30 minutes tomorrow, and the stress of trying to get over to the library to see if I can renew a book. I know. I’m such a geek.

I’m thinking about buying a dress from J.Crew because it’s cute, and because I can get it for super-cheap. I just don’t know if I should go for navy this time, or stick with the dark pewter (gray.) I have black and gray dresses. Several of them. And another thing? I wish I would buy a dress with decent sleeves. As it is, I have to do massive amounts of exercises to keep my arms in check.
