overlooks + blow holes

After snorkeling, Jason drove us around a little bit to check out some overlooks. One of the overlooks just happened to include a blow hole. I know. Crazy, right? I believe the one we saw was the Halona Blow Hole on the south shore. The water pushes so hard against the rocks that water rushes through a hole in the rock – but only on occasion. It’s not like a steady stream of water, as you can see in my pictures.

I don’t know how people got down to that beach, besides scaling the rocks. I wasn’t going down there, though.

The houses on the hill? That’s where rich people (think celebrities) live. Otherwise, people don’t really have yards in Honolulu.
