Project Life – my DC book
I’m linking up for a little Project Life blog hop today. We visited Washington DC last April (mainly for the Nike Women’s Half Marathon) and I used Project Life to document the trip in a mini album. The album worked out pretty well because it was close to Tiffany blue and the “medals” we received at the end of the race were necklaces from Tiffany’s. Win-win, right?
So pictures. These are just some of my favorite pages. I loved the larger photos that I cut in half to fit in the pages.
The only place we didn’t make it to? The White House. How in the world did we make it to DC and manage to miss the White House?? (Actually, we were supposed to do a tour, but the government shutdown prevented that from happening. Thanks, legislators. Real awesome, guys.)
I used mostly the Jade core kit for my layouts – and the journaling really isn’t finished. I’m slow. What can I say? At least photos are in the book.
Awesome book! It would totally be like something I did too, go all that way and not even go see the White House lol. But it looks like you have plenty of other amazing memories from your trip.
Hugs,
Sami
Love the cut pictures to fit in two pockets. Very cute! Thanks for sharing š
