Project Life Tuesday (first edition)
This is an ongoing topic over at The Mom Creative, and I’m finally joining in.
I do not have my stuff together to scrapbook weekly. Maybe I can strive to do that in 2014. I tend to scrapbook various trips or themes – my son’s “firsts” (which I still have yet to begin) or my trip to Hawaii. Oh and my wedding. I started a scrapbook for that six years ago and I haven’t finished it, though my mom gifted us a scrapbook that she finished.
I discovered Project Life a few months ago and I have SEVERAL kits. I don’t like to stick with one kit for a scrapbook, so many of my pages will incorporate different cards from different kits. (I did stick with the same kit for my DC book, so never say never.)
Here is a look at some of our summer travel pages! Minus the journaling! I guess what I’m showing here is just how easy Project Life can be. Select your photos and journaling cards and it can be done in a matter of minutes. (You can click on the images to view them larger.) Oh and I basically stuck with the Kraft kitĀ for these pages.
This post is making me realize I really need to journal those pages before I forget everything. Our trips this summer were so much fun!
Do you scrapbook? Do you use Project Life? Have you ever considered scrapbooking? (Or do you just keep everything in digital form?)
i think the ability to put pages together quickly is definitely one of the best parts of project life. i also like that it lets you include your journaling with your photos in a way that is easy and pretty. i, too, use several core kits. š
Your pages look great! I love Project Life, but I’m terrible at keeping to date. My plan for 2014 is to use the Day One app to jot a few notes about each day so that journaling in retrospect will (hopefully) be easier.
