We have annual passes for Biltmore Estate. My mom and I renewed ours last March, and we bought my husband one at the same time. (He didn’t have one the previous year.) Sadly, we’ve only been once or twice this year (though, we totally got our money’s worth from the visit with Bari and her family in April.) (Another set of parenthesis – I checked to link to a post about that visit and realized I never posted any photos! I’m a bad blogger.)
This weekend we decided to go walk around the grounds of the Estate. The weather was beautiful, so we loaded the baby up and headed over.
We checked out the gardens for a few minutes….
…before walking down to the bass pond and waterfall. I’ve been going to Biltmore at least once a year for the past 10 or so years, and this was the first time I’ve ever walked down to the pond.
We have to walk there more often – can you imagine how pretty the lake will be when the leaves start changing colors in another month or two??
(Somehow, I didn’t upload the waterfall picture this morning. I’ll update this post later with that photo.)
