quick trip/vacation

The husband and I are taking our first trip of the summer starting tonight. This is going to be one crazy summer. I, of course, have a full-time job to drag myself go to. Kenny works with the schools, but has constant training for the next several months (there are at least two full weeks that he’ll be in trainings – one of which is out of town – and another week’s worth of days that he has to work in the schools. And he starts back at the schools on August 11.)

We’re heading to my in-laws and then to the beach (they don’t live too far from the beach, but we’re staying in a house next to the beach over the weekend.) So far, we have plans for Thursday and Saturday (night). We’re goign to hit up a water park on Thursday. And on Saturday, Kenny, my sister-in-law and I are going to see Edwin McCain in Myrtle Beach. I’m excited. The other perk of that show is that Aslyn and Toby Lightman are opening for him. I LOVE Aslyn. Love her.

And that leaves Friday wide open. Hopefully we’ll get some decent beach time and relaxing in. We’ll need it before we have to drive back on Sunday.

Chloe has already been inside my suitcase, trying to convince me not to leave her. (Don’t worry, she’ll have someone checking in on her and catering to her attention needs.)
