I’m linking up with Amanda today for Runner’s Tell All. I saw Tamara post about this last month (I think it was last month) and loved the prompts.

I’ve run so many races in my lifetime. I’ve been running since middle school, so I’ve run countless cross country meets for middle school, high school and then college! I didn’t get into marathons until 2007 (I suffered many moments of insanity.) I’ve run 5 full marathons, but I think the half marathon is kind of my jam.

1. Nike Women’s San Francisco Half

2. Disney Princess Half

3. New York City Half

4. The Rock & Roll Seattle Half

5. The Royal Parks Half Marathon in London

I love learning about a city by running that city. I did that in Indianapolis when I knew I wasn’t going to have a ton of time to walk around and explore. I also did the same thing in DC last year when we were there for just a few days. I thought that the Nike Women’s Half in DC was fabulous. It was not a PR race by any means, but I had so much fun with my friends. I feel the San Francisco Half would be similar, but with different sights (and sites!)

I love the Rock & Roll series. I have completed the Country Music Full marathon three times, and I’ve run the Virginia Beach half. They’re normally well organized, I love music, and they’re in cool cities.

I’ve never even been to Disney, but I think any of the RunDisney events would be fantastic. The Princess Half especially intrigues me.

What races are on your bucket list?

  1. Running a city is definitely the best way to see somewhere new! I think you’re the 3rd person now who has mentioned the Royal Parks half, maybe I need to add that to my list too!

  2. The Disney Princess Half is super fabulous!!!
My new running bucket list (I did everything on the old list!) is the Disney coast to coast challenge with the Disney Princess and Tinkerbell run. In the same run I’d like the do the glass slipper challenge too. haha! Big dreams, I know.
I’d also like to the Nike San Francisco Half.

    1. I say, go big or go home. šŸ˜‰ If I’m ever at Disney for a race, I’d totally do back to back races (unless one is a full marathon) for extra medals! Kind of like extra credit…

  3. Go run Seattle!!! I ran my first (and only so far) full marathon in Seattle. It was a Rock’n’Roll one and it was great. The only warning I have is TRAIN for hills! =)
