Radio silence and Thanksgiving.

I certainly did not plan to go silent over the holiday week! Sometimes life just gets in the way, and that’s been the case the past few weeks.

The baby is awesome and learning new things daily. My 5-year-old is also amazing and teaching US new things daily. He thinks it’s weird that Christmas music is playing and it’s “only November.” šŸ™‚

My mom’s dog got really sick last week. She’s old and we know she won’t live forever, but I don’t know if we’re all quite ready to give up on her yet. Sweet Sophie. And Sophie loves the baby.

We have holiday parties coming up (and I have a hostess gift I want to share with you today or tomorrow.)

We traveled to my in-laws for Thanksgiving. It was nice to get out of the smoke-filled air we’ve been breathing for weeks. Oh how I pray the wildfires are extinguished soon. We need rain desperately and we may get it tonight or tomorrow.

I have baby updates to post.

I also have a new laptop headed my way (!!!) All the excitement there. I ordered it during Cyber Monday sales and using ebates, I got a pretty awesome cash back bonus. (Use my link to sign up for ebates and you automatically get $10 back – and I get a bonus too!)

And have you checked out Amazon’s deals today? I purchased the new novel by Nicholas Sparks for $3.99.

Oh and you get two photos of my family today because we didn’t get a single photo of the four of us this past weekend. I have a 5-year-old who doesn’t love to cooperate. It’s all good.

Did you shop on Black Friday or Cyber Monday? Anything I should check out this evening?
