random baby stuff

I’ve been working on my pregnancy scrapbook today, so a nursery post has been put off (yet again.) Here’s what has gone down in our baby world today.

–I’m officially not allowed to be alone. This is according to my husband and mom who backed him. I can’t drive myself, and there’s even a little bit of apprehension when I want to walk down the street alone. So I now have someone with me all of the time. It’s going to get old. Fast.

–The scrapbook is coming along. The weekly updates are on their pages, and would all be in the book had I not bought the wrong page protectors (three times.) The original book I had was an 8.5×8.5 book, when I thought it was 8×8. So I bought a new 8×8 book to go with those page protectors. And I’ve since purchased the page protectors (twice) with the wrong hole placement. It’s getting annoying. And the craft stores are on the other side of town.

–People keep telling me to eat spicy food, specifically Mexican food. We’ve eaten Mexican food three times this week. It does nothing but put me into a food coma.

–My entertainment at the moment is watching Chloe jump up on a stand in our downstairs room and stare at herself in the mirror. 🙂

–I was working on a baby playlist for my iPod and then realized, I really do love everything on my iPod, so why would I create just one specific playlist for the hospital?

–I think my mom is nesting on my behalf. She’s been on a cleaning spree today, and this afternoon we even attempted to pressure wash my house. (We managed to knock out a circuit in the process, so we’ll have to go to a plan B maybe tomorrow afternoon.)

And I think that’s all I’ve got at this point. More tomorrow, I’m sure.
