random Friday

This is my random Friday post.

We have a lot going on this weekend, most of which I can’t discuss because some of it is top secret. I can tell you Sunday, though.

I’m running a 15k on Sunday morning. Early. We have to be at the Biltmore Estate before 6:30 a.m. I haven’t really trained for this race. I also ran into my bed this morning, and have been trying to get most of the blood out of my toe for most of the day. (Really gross blood blisters are no fun.) I’m hoping my foot will be 100% better by tomorrow. This could be an interesting race.

The weather forecast is crap for the weekend. We’ve had thunderstorms all evening, chance of rain tomorrow and a higher chance of rain/storms are forecasted for Sunday. I hate running in the rain.

This is Chloe pouting. Note her head on her paw. She’s seriously a diva.

We have someone scheduled to install our fan on Monday. I pray he calls me by 3:00 asking for directions – because he didn’t even get my address today.

We may be in the market for a new furnace this year. Yikes. Ours is 37 years old. Scary-old. And it’s making some weird noises.

I’m dying to paint one of our bathrooms. And I’ve come thisclose to installing a new light fixture this week. As soon as the fan is installed, I’ll move onto a new project.

Delta keeps changing the price of tickets I need for October. I really with it cost less than $300 to fly to Binghamton. That’s all.
