random items for a cloudy Saturday
Have you checked out my photo blog recently? We’ve been walking Chloe outside more (on the harness.) This is the picture I posted last week: 
It was taken on my cell phone. She’s really doing a lot more walking – and eating grass. Silly cat. Oh, and I’m now growing cat grass for her, after seeing how much she needs it to settle her stomach. You’ve got to love Google….
We’re in Chattanooga visiting Brandon and Betsey. After seeing their home, and how much they’ve done since January, I can’t wait to get back to more house projects on our own house. The fact that we’ve watched a little bit of HGTV has helped that urge as well. It’s all about painting…
I’m trying to convince the husband to buy a new couch for our living room. I don’t even know if it’s going to take much convincing. Maybe just a friend with a truck is what I need at this point. š
We’re heading to the aquarium today, and then a Kentucky Derby party later this afternoon. It’s going to be a fun day.
It’s very cloudy, which is good. My sunglasses broke on our trip down yesterday. The arm of the glasses just snapped in half. Crazy. And a reminder to not buy sunglasses from Banana Republic again. Two sets in two years? I’m going to buy my next pair from Target.

I don’t think I have ever seen anyone take a cat for a walk before š
Chloe is an indoors-only kind of cat, but she longs to be outdoors. When we adopted her, they made us sign an agreement that she’d be an indoor cat, which I’m fine with. The harness allows her to walk in the yard with us, and she won’t get hit by a car. She hated it last year, but is warming up to the harness idea this year!
