What I’m Reading Wednesday: I need suggestions
I leave for my trip in less than a week. I need suggestions for a book (or three) to take along with me. I have Amazon Prime, but I can also ship to my dad’s house since I’ll be there for two nights.
This past month, I discovered Shannon Stacey. I’m in love with the Kowalski series and I’ve read every book in the series. (Related: I read one of the books in less than a day. They’re super easy reads.)
I’m currently reading Living Well, Spending Less. (<–That’s an affiliate link.) I’m only a couple of chapters in, and I’ve been reading it as part of a Facebook group book club. I hope to have a review ready soon for you.
Next Tuesday, The Fringe Hours is supposed to be delivered to me. Unfortunately, I won’t have it in my possession since I’m flying that day.
I’m at a loss, now. I loved Saving Grace by Jane Green. Loved it. It’s been so great seeing her evolve over the years and this was one of the better books I’ve read of hers.
So, talk to me. What are you reading right now? What should I be reading?
I wish I had more time to read. I just got a great book about hauntings in MA that I am excited to start – I just need to find the time.
I’m so jealous that you’re not only reading one book, but two. I wish I had more time for reading!
I read Very Valentine by Adriana Trigiani in Antigua and really liked it. There is a sequel I need to get my hands on next.
I like all kinds of books and I have read quite a few so far this year. If you want a thinking book UnHoly Night by Seth Grahame-Smith was fantastic – if you want romance I found a great author Julie Ortolon ~ I am finishing her latest series. Broken Trust by Thomas Maurin is a good suspense. Have fun and enjoy your relaxing time.
This is where I always struggle, I love a good book but feel like i never had the time to read. I have 3 books, I’m waiting to read now.
I’ve seen a ton of great recommendations floating around Facebook on what to read. Of course, now I can’t remember what they are. I’m not much of a reader myself, but am finding inspiration from your post on where to start.
my current audio book is Mary Higgins Clark “Nighttime is My Time” – for a well known author, i’m kinda disappointed.
i’m on to harry potter and the chamber of secrets. i’m not sold yet, but i hear by book 3 they are fabulous!
I wish that I had more time to read. The last series I read was The Hunger Games.
I just finished “Stuck in Downward Dog” since it was recommended on Oyster. It was a nice, light read.
I’m reading Andy Cohen’s new book. Don’t look at me for deep reading material right now.
How funny, both of those books are on my to-read list. Unfortunately I don’t have any good suggestions.
I’m not reading anything right now sadly. I need to find a good book and start!
I read a bunch of books at a time – usually design books and of course magazines
I don’t have any suggestions. I’ll be watching your list though, to see if one resonates w/me too as a great suggestion. š
I love to read. Sounds like great books you have there.
I have been so busy that I have not been able to read a good book in awhile. I need some suggestions as well!
I’m currently reading The Fortune Hunter by Daisy Goodwin. So far, it’s pretty good. As for suggestions, I think you should try The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult and The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton.
I am actually reading The Divergent Series now and I love it. I will check out this books also.
