really, weather?
I’m not happy with the weather forecast this weekend. In Asheville, the National Weather Service is calling for snow and sleet on Saturday. Of course it’ll be mostly sunny on Sunday when we come home.
But in Kiawah? 70 percent chance of rain on Saturday, with a HIGH of 51. I chose this marathon because of it’s awesome weather. This is NOT awesome weather.
I’m debating my running attire for Saturday. Do I go with pants, long-sleeved shirt underneath my TNT short-sleeved shirt and my hatphones? Or do I go with pants, short-sleeved TNT shirt and hatphones? Or do I bypass the hatphones (because of the risk of my iPod being destroyed with water) and wear a regular hat, and throw my iPod somewhere else on my body for 26.2 miles? I’m thinking that shorts will be out of the question because I remain pretty cold when I run. And since it isn’t going to be sunny, running pants might be best. Oh and the long-sleeved shirt would help keep my Garmin dry.
The decisions I have to make. They’re tough.
And let’s all take a moment to think away the bad weather forecast. Let it rain on Sunday.
That’s a lot to take in. Love the new blog layout!
Thanks! I’m loving the new blog design too š
And it IS a lot to take in – running attire is very important!
