I’m often looking for healthy snacks – for myself and for my family. These Banana Cinnamon Oat Balls are a great option when you want something that is tasty and good for you. They are no bake, and fairly easy to make. Make a batch today, and keep them on hand for all times of day. (I think they’d even be a great option after a workout!)

What you need:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups regular oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed
  • 1.5 tablespoons almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown rice syrup
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons shredded coconut

In a bowl, mash bananas and vanilla extract until combined.

Add in the next three ingredients into the bowl and mix.

In another bowl, melt the almond butter and syrups together.

Pour wet into dry and mix until everything looks sticky.

Stir in the coconut.

Line a board with parchment paper and grease your hands with coconut oil.

Portion and roll the mixture into small balls. The balls will be sticky and wet so roll until just combined.

Place on the parchment paper and let set in the freezer for 60 minutes.

What kinds of snacks are you making these days?
