Halloween Funfetti Cake Balls
These Halloween Funfetti Cake Balls are festive little balls of deliciousness – perfect for kid-friendly Halloween celebrations. Who doesn’t love a good cake ball?
These are festive little balls of fun – and bite size! Of course, that isn’t going to keep me eating just one. (I want ALL of them.) They aren’t too time intensive and you can get the kids involved if you’re ok with letting go of perfection and letting everyone get just a little bit messy.
Ingredients to make the Funfetti Cake Balls:
- 1 1/2 C of Funfetti cake mix
- 1/2 C unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
- 1/4 C sugar
- 1/2 C flour
- 1/2 tablespoon vanilla
- 1/2 C + more for decoration Halloween confetti sprinkles
- 2 Bags of white melting chocolate
- 1 Cookie sheet fitted with wax, or parchment paper
How to make Halloween Funfetti Cake Balls:
- In a large mixing bowl, add the cake mix, sugar, flour and vanilla
- Cut the butter into cubes and add into the same bowl
- Using a fork or your fingers, work the mixture into a cookie dough texture
- Add the halloween sprinkles and mix until combined
- Using a small ice cream scooper, scoop some dough and using your hands, roll into balls
- Repeat steps until all dough is gone
- Using a double boiler, melt the white chocolate
- Dip the dough ball into the chocolate
- Using a fork, completely coat the ball into the chocolate and place onto the cookie sheet
- Repeat the previous step with the remaining dough balls
- Sprinkle some sprinkles onto the tops of the balls and place into the fridge for 15 minutes

These would be a great treat for a party. We often take a side dish or dessert to friend’s parties and I think these would be a hit. You could even purchase cellophane wrappers for the cake pops and have individually wrapped treats for kids to share (safely.)
