reliving the weekend

Oh how I want to go back and replay this weekend – because it was that. much. fun.

Saturday didn’t start out fun (for Chloe, at least.) Chloe had a vet appointment. We learned she was healthy (unlike last year!) and she has lost 1.4 pounds since last year. We’ve been playing with her more – about an hour a day – and that includes a lot more running on her part. The vet thinks it’s working, and she’s considered healthy. No more fat cat!

After that, we ate at Green Tea for lunch. I’ve been wanting sushi, and I loveeee their sweet potato rolls.

I finally had to pack and head to Greenville. I stayed with my friend Margi last night, and we went to the Joshua Radin show. I had purchased sound check/meet and greet tickets, so we basically got a mini private show before his concert. (It was us and one couple in there.) A full post about the concert will come soon. I have pictures, but I need to go through them.

I rounded out the weekend with a trip to Trader Joes before heading home. Took a nice nap in the afternoon (with a cat who seriously missed me during the 23 hours I was gone) and then we went to a Super Bowl party. (We left the party early so we could get ready for bed and finish watching the game at home.)

All in all, it was a great weekend. One I wouldn’t mind repeating….say next weekend??

  1. Is there a Trader Joe’s in Greenville? I had no idea!
How did you find out about the sound check tickets? I need to do that for a Josh Ritter show. I love him SO. MUCH. šŸ™‚
