I was really excited for the opportunity to try ginnybakes products. I love baked goods. I’m a big supporter of organic. And I want to be able to give my son treats that are somewhat healthy. (What mom doesn’t want to provide healthy options?)

I also work in a place where baked goods are all around. One of my colleagues can’t have a certain protein that is found in milk, so many desserts are out for her. Do you know how many desserts/baked goods are made without milk? Very few.

I opened the box from ginnybakes and there were so many options! This excited me to no end, but also it was going to take a bit of time to try everything! First thing I did was take a few packages of the cookies to work. This definitely went over well with my colleagues.

ginnybakes produces cookies, bars, crumble snacks, and baking mixes—to fit each every one of your cravings. So far, I’ve had the cookies and the bars. They’ve been great. Every product from ginnybakes is gluten-free, organic, non-GMO, and kosher. They also offer a line of totally vegan treats. You can’t find any artificial ingredients in these baked goods. This excited me to no end.

The chocolate chip cookies were delicious. One package made its way to my office. I took another package to my husband’s birthday gathering. I actually took two packages of cookies for my husband’s party. They were eaten quickly.

Some of the cookies were a tad crunchy. (My son had a tough time eating the super crunchy cookies.) The mini cookies, the ones I thought my son would absolutely love, were really too hard for my son. I’m not sure why. (They’re still good. And I bring them to work.)

The sugar cookies may have been my favorite. They weren’t super soft, they weren’t super crunchy – and they were 100% delicious. In the words of my toddler, they were “TASTY!”

Overall, we love ginnybakes and just found out that the baked goods are sold at a few of our local grocery stores! ginnybakes products are sold at Costco stores in the San Francisco Bay Area, Whole Food Market stores, and Fresh Market. They recently found their way into Stop & Shop, Giant, Martin’s, Big Y stores, and Peapod for those who live in the New York and New England region! 1. Oh there’s one brand of packaged cookies that are insanely soft. But, you know, artificial ingredients and totally bad for you. 😉

  1. Great review! I love Ginny Bakes products. I definitely don’t eat totally gluten-free, but I lover her products because to be honest, I feel much better when I limit gluten. My boys love the chocolate-chip. We actually haven’t tried the sugar cookies yet.

  2. There is so much artificial crap in everything, this is a refreshing product to read about! I never gave it another thought, but now that I have a kid, I want to take care of him, and finally me as well!

  3. I’m definitely not a baker from scratch at all. These mixes would be great and foolproof ways for me to make snacks with the kids.

  4. I cannot believe that every product from ginnybakes is gluten-free, organic, non-GMO, and kosher! That is awesome. I am always looking for healthier options for my family. Thanks!

  5. I have never heard of this brand. Would be worth looking in to for me because lately I find myself not being able to eat white flours and such without terrible stomach distress. I try to eat low carb but sometimes you just have to have a treat.

  6. I’ll look for these in Costco. You had me when you talk about taking them out I always need a quick snack to share. That would be awesome if everyone could eat them.

  7. One of my friends is allergic to gluten, so I will have to let him know about these Ginny Bakes. He loves dessert and that’s the problem he has with them. Thanks for sharing!
