Kenny bought the Dave Ramsey books a few years ago. He was looking to get out of debt, and create his savings account. A real savings account. A few years later, we’re both out of debt (minus the payments I’m making to my orthodontist – that should be over by February) and we’re buying our first home….with money still in our savings account.
At first, I was annoyed by Dave. Then, I realized that what he was saying really made sense. We now have no car loans, school loans, credit card debt or even wedding debt.
I bought a couple of copies of Dave’s book (his workbook is really good too.) They’re only $10. He runs this sale about every November around Thanksgiving. I promise you won’t be disappointed if you buy the book(s).
