running and stress relief
I had a hard day. I’m determined to smile my way through work, but I let everything get the best of me and broke down when I got home (and received something in the mail that I was hoping wouldn’t happen.) I can’t discuss all my stresses on this blog. It’s public ya’ll and some of my stuff just can’t be out there 🙂
They say running reduces stress. People do it all the time, and I find that it does help me clear my head. Who doesn’t want to listen to Britney Spears while running? (Or Kelly Clarkson or Matt Nathanson or Kate Nash or Stephen Kellogg…)
I really do find it helpful. I just find myself running SO MUCH MORE these days and am afraid I’ll end up hurting myself. I might need to find another stress-relieving hobby. Or find another marathon to train for if things are going to be this bad until after April.
Girl, how many times do I have to tell you, you need to knit! Crochet just isn’t the same. Knitting has magical stress relieving powers.
Also, so does making a weekend trip to St. Louis. Jus’ sayin’…
