Save big on Secret Life Of Pets (and make no-sew finger puppets!)
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Mott’s®. The opinions and text are all mine. #MottsMovieBonus
This summer is big on movies in our house. My son has several movies in mind that he wants to see, and they’ve been marked on our calendar for weeks (and sometimes months!) Our next big movie date is to see The Secret Life Of Pets. I saw the previews for this several months ago and I’m excited as he is. With the movie, there will be snacks.
My boy is a big snacker. A few months ago, I created a snack box in our kitchen so he doesn’t really have to ask for food. He can get what he wants. The box includes various snack mixes, cereal, Mott’s® Applesauce Pouches, as well as Mott’s Applesauce Cups.
He knows that there are healthy options in his snack box, and doesn’t have to question me on whether he’s had too much junk that day. It helps that he’s a big applesauce fan – and that I’m a fan of the Mott’s Applesauce Pouches. (I keep at least one in my purse so I have quick access to a snack when we’re on the go.)
Right now, you can get a free child’s ticket to see The Secret Life Of Pets by purchasing three Mott’s applesauce or apple juice products. By purchasing five Mott’s products, you can save an additional $8 on movie vouchers! Seeing how we were already planning to see the movie, I’m now more excited to see it and save a few dollars. Oh, and the process for getting our free ticket was easy. I purchased my items at Walmart. Then simply visit the website, enter basic information (name, birthdate, email address), and upload a copy of your receipt. You’ll be emailed a code to enter and from there you will be prompted to select a theater in your area, and then print out your voucher.
While we’re anxiously waiting for the movie to be released in July, I made these fun finger puppets to introduce my son to the animals. (And they’re no sew, so my son could help decorate and there was no worry about little fingers getting into my machine!)
What you need:
Felt
Pom poms
Fabric Glue
Eyes
Scissors
Fabric Pen
Permanent Marker
Cut the outer shape of your animal. Most of my animals were an oval shape (with the straight bottom.) I folded my felt over once, and cut two pieces at one time. Cut the secondary color felt (if needed.) Glue into place. Add eyes and the pompoms for noses (or the fur!) Fill in mouths and whiskers with permanent marker. Glue the front and back pieces, along the outer edge, leaving the bottom opening unglued. Let dry for a few hours (or overnight) so the glue will hold.
Over the next couple of weeks, be sure to pick up three Mott’s Applesauce or Apple Juice products or five Mott’s products at Walmart to get your free ticket to The Secret Life of Pets.
Have you seen previews of The Secret Life of Pets? Who appears to be your favorite pet? (I’m partial to Chloe the cat because of my own Chloe.)
I’m looking forward to seeing the secret life of pets! It looks so cute. Great project for the kiddos too.
