a sewing session

Last night, I got together with two of my friends at my house to work on sewing projects. We had planned on working on a laptop cover, and one of the girls decided to make an iPod case (she didn’t need a laptop cover.)
This was my end result:
The pattern is free. And I’m so in love with the fabric. The scrap fabric will most likely be turned into a case for my new iPod.
The almost-four hours I spent on the case was definitely worth it and I’m already looking forward to our next sewing session (whenever that will be!)
That’s awesome! Cute fabric too! Another project to add to my (long) list. š
That is so dang cute! So, wanna make me one?
LOVE that fabric!
Agree on the fabric. Very cute. A good idea. I’m glad you are finally using your sewing machine.

That is awesome…you did great! The fabic is amazing!
I just got my first sewing machine and haven’t even taken it out of the box. š Waiting until Easter when I visit my mom and she can teach me the ropes. Your cover turned out great!
I haven’t done my post on this yet, but I wish we had taken a picture of the sweat shop scene at the table! Next time…. š
Did you get the velcro put on? I kind of wish I had waited on mine to let the laptop fit a little more snug. Oh well. š
