Why do weekends tend to go by too quickly? I really need a three-day weekend every week. I mean it. Now, who can make that happen for me (with the exception of losing my job altogether?)
Just some random thoughts for this evening.
Weight Watchers is going well for me. I’m down a pound and a half, and that’s with some major mishaps last week – chips and salsa after work one day, and Papa’s & Beer on Friday night. There was also the day I ate an entire bag of jelly beans. Yep. The entire bag. It was awesome.
On a better WW note, I have a really good recipe to share that we made this week (and a kind of funny story behind it.) Maybe I can bring the recipe to my computer tomorrow and type it out for you…
I’m taking part in a month-long challenge with the Sisterhood. This site is sooo much fun to be involved with. I’m taking on the 30-day Shred (again, or rather, I’ll continue with the Shred.) It’s just in time for my trip to Hawaii, since we leave in 23 days!
I’ve been thinking about how I’m still going to exercise while on vacation. I think it’s important for me to not become a part of the beach, but rather embrace the island. I want to hike, run, snorkel….all sorts of active things, so hopefully exercising won’t be a huge issue.
My mom and I shopped today for Hawaii. I now have snorkeling gear, water shoes and beach cover-ups. I’m going to return one of the cover-ups, even though I love it. My mom bought the same one and we already have matching snorkeling gear and shoes. Not sure if I’m prepared to look exactly like her in all of our vacation photos.
It’s supposed to snow again this week. I bought my snorkeling gear just in time.
