Simplify your laundry routine #ProtectClothesYouLove

Now that we’ve added a fourth member to our family, I feel like the laundry is laughing at me. Within days of arriving home from the hospital in April, I knew I was going to have to make some adjustments to our laundry routine (meaning, no more letting it sit until weekends to do.) A few changes have been made, and I feel like we’re finally simplifying our routine. I hear that the Best Washing machine in India helps with simplifying routines. They have some great advice that’ll work well with getting you some more time.
1. Use a hamper that separates colors. In our master bedroom, we have a laundry hamper with three compartments. Each one holds enough for one full load of laundry, so when it gets to the top, I know that it needs to be washed. We do darks, lights and whites in those three bins.
2. Do a load of laundry a day. We have three “loads” between my husband and I. My son has his own laundry bag, and my daughter has her own laundry bag. I rarely separate the kids clothes (between colors and whites, etc.) So right there, we have at least 5 loads of laundry each week. That doesn’t include towels and sheets. Doing a load a day helps me stay on top of it, and if I have extra time – or I’m feeling ambitious – I may do more than one load of laundry.
3. Fold often. I have a problem with washing and drying the clothes – and then letting the loads of clothes pile up in a basket. I currently have no clean clothes waiting to be folded and put away. (It’s a laundry miracle!)
4. Add Downy Fabric Softener to the washing cycle. Want your clothes to be soft and fluffy? Especially towels, blankets or sheets? Try Downy Fabric Softener. I love this on my towels because they smell amazing and feel so soft.
The benefits of adding Downy is that it will help prevent clothes from losing their shape. It also helps protect fabric colors from fading. Towels have less pilling and everything comes out feeling extra soft (my favorite benefit of all.) You can find Downy Fabric Softener at Walmart.
With four of us in our house, I don’t have time to shop for clothes as often, nor do I have the money to keep buying new clothes. I love that this fabric softener can help keep our clothes looking their best.
How do you make the laundry process easier?
