I filmed today’s holiday parade in downtown Asheville. It was supposed to live stream, and it did for the most part, but I hear that the original quality was quite jumpy. The files that I put up were pretty clear, though. I made it to the building we were filming from around 10 a.m. and I stood outside in 30 degree temperatures for over 3 hours.
I still can’t really feel my toes.
I wore a hat and scarf that I made, and they kept my upper body warm. My gloves kept the hands warm (for the most part…they were still pretty cold.) But, my feet. It took me back to my days of filming high school football, and I never, ever want to go back to those days.
The husband is hanging out with friends, watching the ASU-WCU football game today (go ASU!) and I think I’m going to go get under my blanket (that I made) and finish reading my Women’s Health magazine. I also picked up the newest Real Simple, so I think I’m set!
