True statement spoken in our apartment tonight:
“Thanks for the tickets and the squid.”

For real. Thanks to the Citizen-Times, I was able to score a few box seat tickets to the Asheville Tourists game tonight. Kenny and I went, along with Brandon and Betsey. The game was good, very entertaining (and we had great seats right over the Tourists’ dugout), but the Tourists lost. (They won their game against the Rome Braves on Wednesday.) We headed back to our place, and Kenny just *had* to make calamari.

So weird, that man.

A really good night to wrap up a decent week. Tomorrow, we head out to run between 4 and 6 miles. I’ll have some time to play with the dogs and maybe mow the lawn for my mom. I may even get a few productive things done around the apartment.

We’ll see.
