so I don’t totally bring you down

In case you read my other post from tonight, I decided to close out the night on a happier note.

I balanced my banking accounts in Quicken. Sweet. My mom bought me the program for Christmas last year, and I used it two or three times in 2008. It still works (the 2008 version) so I don’t *really* need to buy the 2009 version. And I got everything balanced. Two money markets, one savings account and two checking accounts. And that’s all that I have. That doesn’t include the husband’s checking and savings accounts.

Seriously. So great.

And it’s snowing tonight. Like real snow. Not the flurries that send all people in western North Carolina into a frenzy (people buy milk and bread when there’s a threat of snow here.)

Here’s our “barn” in the back yard. Notice the white on the ground? I sent the husband out to the front of the house, but the photos didn’t come out. I’ll take one tomorrow morning.
