Ahhhh. The weekend. We’re expecting a lot of rain today. I’d hoped to get my final long run in today, but I don’t do rain, so it will wait until tomorrow. Instead, the boy and I are going to play trains. He was requesting train tracks last night at bedtime, so I promised trains as soon as we all woke up in the morning.

I think my half marathon next weekend is my 12th. What the what? And my race in June will be my 13th half marathon. That’s so many – at least in my head! I’m excited. I’m considering treating my race next weekend as a training run and really racing the one in June. I haven’t mentioned much, but my knee has been giving me some trouble this past week. I don’t feel 100%, but I really want to run this race. Mentally, I’m ready. I’m excited.

Do you watch Grey’s Anatomy? What did you think this week? I kept hoping it was one long horrible dream. I was holding out hope until the very end of the episode. I’m wondering how much longer the show will go on.

I don’t keep up with a lot of television shows like I used to. I’m partly invested in The Voice (but I haven’t seen it in a couple of weeks. Life gets in the way of tv sometimes.) I try to watch Modern Family, and I’m caught up on New Girl (and Mindy Project) thanks to Hulu. So roughly four hours of television shows – if I get to see them. That’s not terrible considering years ago I had shows every single night.

What’s on your agenda this weekend? My husband is running a race later today. I have cleaning on my list – as always – and a lot of playing. Those trains aren’t going to push themselves around our living room, are they?

  1. Grey’s -holy moly. I am not looking forward to the 2 hour episode this week :/
I have shows on every single night right now, but they are closing down for summer in the next few weeks, but then I have some summer series that I keep up on too… So very grateful for the DVR LOL

    1. We don’t have a DVR – I’d be lost if I had that many shows at this point! I get so emotionally invested in certain tv shows. (And that 2-hour finale is going to be SO HARD.)
