I’m trying to play catch-up in real life. I remember pregnancy exhausting me the first time around, but this time it. is. brutal.

I took on a lot of pajama orders back in June. Pre-orders have to go in early in order to get them in time to embroider/applique for Christmas. I had no idea that I’d be struggling come November to even stay awake past 9.

Stream of Consciousness - free writing.

I’ve spent two weeks looking for a decent embroidery software that was easy to understand when it came to fonts. I finally found one this week and spent some time putting it to use on Thursday night. I did some test pajamas last night (on my family’s, because I don’t have that many to really mess up) and I’m hoping I can get a friend’s order out to her by the middle of the week.

That said, I have a lot of pajamas from last year that were never embroidered. I’m hoping I can get them all appliqued and up in the Etsy shop (for sale and ready to ship!) before Thanksgiving. Wishful thinking, I’m sure, but it’s worth a shot. (And if you’re reading this and would like a pair before they’re ever listed on Etsy, comment or message me through the form on my site – see the top navigation! Let me know what size you’re looking for.)

My post is more promotional than stream of consciousness, but I’ve been thinking about this a LOT. And if I’m ambitious crazy enough, I could potentially order additional sizes in a few days. (The site I order from sells out of these quickly, which is why the pre-order is so smart!)

I’m looking forward to a weekend full of embroidery. What are you up to?
