Weekend goals {week 92} #SOC #freewriting #blogging
It’s very cold today and windy. I wouldn’t mind being outside in the cold, but the wind is another story. Too much pollen is being stirred up and it leaves a sneezy mess. So we’re looking for fun indoor things to do to keep the boy occupied. (And hopefully that won’t involve too much television.)
I spent my Friday night unexpectedly replacing our wireless router. It actually didn’t take as long as the old one did to hook up, but I had other plans for my Friday night. Those plans involved sleeping – not resetting wireless settings on most of our devices. Related: I’m glad that I know what I’m looking for, and can replace things like our router and re-work our network in under two hours.
The boy is getting a little anxious about this baby. The other morning he asked me, “Where is my baby? It’s April already!” He’s so smart and remembers everything. We didn’t give him an exact date that the baby would be here (because who really knows?) and I knew this would be the toughest part for him to understand. So now he asks us if the baby is going to be here tomorrow. One can only hope that she comes that quickly…
I’m getting anxious about exercising again. I really want to get back out and walk with no pains and to RUN! Oh how I’ve missed running. We’ve had some of the most perfect weather for running and I just have to forget that I was once a runner and it’s going to take a while to get back into the swing of things.
Oh, have you seen my photos from Biltmore? I posted them earlier in the week (and I really love the tulips.) I’m afraid the weather this weekend is going to kill all of the pretty tulips.
I have a lot of getting ahead I need to accomplish this weekend. Several things I’ve committed to and now I’m hoping that the baby comes on time, so I don’t let things fall through the cracks. (Though, the people I’m working with will understand – I hope.) I also had plans to get some clothes embroidered. I don’t think that is going to happen this weekend, but I can always set my goals a little high. Here’s hoping for a productive weekend!
I’m in total agreement about the wind. I’m over all of it; I’m so ready for real spring where it’s actually warm outside. I’m excited that you get to start working out too. I hate that feeling of wanting to exercise but not being able to. Hopefully, the little one will be here soon!!
I have goals to lose lots of weight
the cool weather this weekend was great for running, but my heater ran all weekend. I just wanted to throw open the doors and enjoy spring!
