Exercise deficient. {week 97} #SOC #blogging
I’m 3.5 weeks out from surgery and I have another 2.5 weeks before limitations are lifted. The first and even second week weren’t so bad. The third week has been tough and the further I get away from the surgery, and I still can’t do much physically, the worse I’m beginning to feel.
I can’t even walk in my neighborhood without driving somewhere first. The hills are too much.
I remember this from the last time, but this time is different for some reason.
I did figure out a work around for our jogging stroller and after I test it out, I’ll post more about it. I did take the initiative to unscrew the entire cover of the BOB stroller to wash it – it still had color and glitter from last summer’s Color Run. It was pretty gross, and now it looks shiny and new.
My husband and I have been debating doing the Color Run this summer. I’m now leaning towards “no” simply because of the hassle in cleaning the mess from the last Color Run. (The glitter. Oh my….no.) My son loved doing the Color Run, though. I need to find a kid-friendly race to run with him.
I’m in a lack of exercise funk. The weather has been fantastic, and I’ve been indoors. It’s not the best for the baby either. When I do walk with her in our yard, she seems to enjoy it. Sometimes during her fussy times, I can step outside with her, and she quiets right down.
Only 2.5 more weeks and we can be out there. Just in time for summer.
Home stretch Mama! You’ll be back at it before you know it!!! Can’t wait to meet her!
