some Friday randoms

I’m so glad it’s the weekend, and Easter weekend at that!

I continued cleaning out our office/nursery last night. Really cleaning. The closet is about half empty now. It almost looks like we could move stuff out this weekend.

Except I found out around 9:00 tonight that my best friend (from middle school/high school days) is home for the weekend and I now have plans to see her. So all of my cleaning progress will have to be put on hold.

Tonight I was out shopping (groceries and such) and Usher came on the radio. McLittle started moving around like mad. About an hour later, when I was in the car again, Usher came on the radio (what can I say? Two of the radio stations I listen to have the exact same play lists) and the same thing happened. McLittle is apparently an Usher fan, which is no surprise, given that Kenny’s quite the dancer.

Sometimes I want to slap the kids that are bagging my groceries. Like the one tonight who smirked at me when I asked that my bags not be too heavy – and then he left them on the counter, thinking I could carry all of the groceries (rather than push them in the cart.) Idiot. Next time, I may have to do something…like talk to a manager.

I saw my grandpa today, who looked as if he had been in some pain. My mom asked him how he was doing, and he said he was in pain. I said, “what hurts?” to which he replied, “Me!” Next time I won’t ask such stupid questions. 🙂
