some mid-week randoms

A few things are on my mind this evening…..

I need to blog about the nursery again. We lack decals and canvas artwork on the walls, but that’s not a deal-breaker, right? Clothes are washed and put away, the closet is mostly organized, and things are in place. It’s just not totally decorated.

Delta emailed me back today. In return for our poor service received back in June, they’ve given us vouchers to use in the next year. Do you have any idea how excited that makes me? (It’s an excuse to plan a trip!)

We’re 37 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I told Kenny tonight that I should probably pack my hospital bag soon. It’s SO CLOSE.

I know I’ve mentioned my chiropractor before, but not much related to the pregnancy. I truly think that he’s helped me so much. I have not had the “typical” pregnancy in that my back hasn’t been sore, the swelling has been minimal. All the fun third-trimester symptoms are less or non-existent. I love him.

We received the paperwork from the hospital a week ago for the delivery. (The doctor has been paid for.) I suspect we’ll be paying off the hospital in the next week or so. Do you know how much a relief it will be to have that paid for before McLittle even arrives?

I’ve been saving money for a few months to help with finances while I’m out of work (not that I have to be too concerned since our emergency fund is just fine.) I’m just glad to know that we’re not going to totally suffer during those 12 weeks.

I just realized that Nicholas Sparks is going to be in Greenville, SC the week after my birthday – and a couple of days after his next book is released.

How’s that for random?
