{sponsored post} summer playdate!
I think the toddler days are such a fun age. Last summer, it was a little difficult to plan as much fun stuff for our boy, mainly because we were competing with nap times and he wasn’t walking just yet. One year later, and we’re embarking on a trip this week and hopefully planning several really fun play dates and activities.
First up? The aquarium. Our boy loves fish and animals. We’ve never taken him to an aquarium, but I can’t see how he wouldn’t love it. I’m hoping that when we’re done at the aquarium, we can hit the beach. He’s such a fan of the water and sand (the kid loves his sandbox – the beach is just one giant sandbox for him to dump sand over his head!)
We’re also planning some lake time. See above. My boy loves water.
We will be traveling early next week and not only will we be close to the beach, but we’ll also be near a zoo. Our last zoo trip was such a hit, I’m confident that this next zoo trip will be just as great. (Only a little hotter, since it’s almost July.)
Hyundai Santa Fe hosted an Epic Playdate Weekend in April. I just read a recap on Oh Happy Day and oh my word. HOW FUN. She got to experience climbing redwood trees and I just can’t imagine. (What I can imagine is one day – soon – climbing trees in my front yard with the boy.) You can also see a video of the weekend here.
What fun do you have planned for this summer?
