spring weather (finally!) in January

Today’s weather has been AMAZING. Even yesterday was pretty awesome…but today? Mid-60s and sunny. I loved it. We’ve spent a lot of time not in the house this weekend, which has been even better.
Besides having to attend a memorial service yesterday for a dear colleague and friend, this weekend was pretty perfect. (The only downfall to the service was just knowing that Steve really is gone. Stupid cancer.)
There’s been a lot of relaxing, hanging out with friends, and exploring our neighborhood this weekend. We even took Chloe outside for a while this afternoon. And she’s done nothing but meow this evening, in hopes that she’ll be allowed to go back out.
Our weather drops back to the 40s tomorrow…I’ll be depressed again before we know it.

oy. That is NOT warm!! š Of course, it’s better than the extreme low temps (teens) that we were experiencing just a couple of weeks ago.
it was gorgeous wasn’t it? of course i didn’t check the weather today and i’m wearing a short sleeved sweater and a skirt and its in the 40s and rainy. poop.
