Stitch Fix June 2019 Review
Shortly after I received my May box, I requested a Stitch Fix box for June. What I wanted – mostly knit tops, specifically with a knot front look that appears to be popular with a lot of the Stitch Fix brands. I pinned 11 tops, cleared out most of my Pinterest board, and specifically requested this type of shirt. I challenged my stylist to stay under $200 before the discount. So let’s see where we ended up for the Stitch Fix June box!
First, this is what I requested.
It’s clear the style I was going for, right? RIGHT?!?
And this is what I received:
COLETTE – Romey Cold Shoulder Knit Top – $34
I received this in two colors. I wasn’t a fan of the style, nor was I fan of the colors. I don’t like cold shoulder tops, I specifically asked for longer knit tops, and these missed the mark.
PAPERMOON – Basima Back Detail Knit Top – $28
Again, this top was too short, too strappy and just too little fabric for me.
PAPERMOON – Bonney Keyhole Halter Blouse – $38
This one is pretty. I have worn it once (for a party I hosted two weeks ago) and it is a great fit. It’s longer, light and flowy and the only thing I don’t like is the fact I have to wear a strapless bra with it. (I don’t know anyone who loves wearing those.) I won’t get a ton of wear out of it, but I do like it a lot.
VIGOSS – Pixie Clean Cuffed Frayed Hem Short – $48
I’ve never bought Stitch Fix shorts and I really like these. They’re SUPER comfortable, such a great fit, and I would buy these again. In fact, now Stitch Fix lets me buy other colors or repeat items of things I’ve kept. I’ve gotten the most wear out of these shorts!
Overall, this Fix was a 2 out of 5. I love one item, liked one and the others were terrible (for me.) I was REALLY disappointed that not one item was a top I pinned almost a dozen times on Pinterest. My stylist hit the budget out of the park, though. This was $182 before discount!
I’ve requested another box, and I haven’t changed my Pinterest board. I really want some of the tops I requested back in June. And maybe a repeat pair of jeans they sent me last fall. I have a Style Pass now, so I’m not losing out on styling fees for the next 10 months. (Want to try Stitch Fix? Get a $50 credit towards your first Fix with my referral link!)
Updating a year later to add that I still love the shorts and the Papermoon top. If you’re able to request either of these items, I would highly recommend! Both have held up really well, and I’m hoping I can order the shorts again this month. And while you can, get this $50 Stitch Fix credit on your first order. It’s a fantastic deal!
