Stitch Fix Spring 2019 (April review)
I requested a Stitch Fix box in April and since I forgot to share my December box, I thought it would be interesting to share my spring Stitch Fix box here! I’m pretty specific in my notes (generally.) I wanted a dress to wear at Mom 2.0 for a fancier event, a couple of tops, and maybe a pair of pants. My stylist sent me a pair of pink pants last year that I LOVE, and I referenced those. I also pinned a couple of tops that I really liked (and specifically requested.) My stylist couldn’t get the exact shirt, but sent me one similar.
In this box I received 3 tops, 1 pair of pants and 1 dress.
ALICE BLUE – Masonic Lace Blouse
This was a tough color. The description said it was pink. It was more reddish/pink. It was cute, but the neckline was really high on me and I just couldn’t make my mind up on it. I wished it had been a little longer (because I’m a little more self conscious about my stomach/hips area.)
MARKET & SPRUCE – Ezide Textured Print Top
I had wanted a different textured print shirt, and this was sent and is SO CUTE. It’s stretchy, which is good because it’s pretty fitted on me. (I’m working on this. I’m hoping that by mid-summer it’s loose.) I’ve worn it to work, at a conference and casually. I love it.
ALICE BLUE – Ambriz Pleat Front Detail Blouse
When I saw the photo, I had high hopes for this top. When I tried it on, I wasn’t 100% sure, but I received a lot of great feedback on it and I have worn it a few times so far. I really like. It’s super light, and the blue/green is so pretty in person.
TRIBAL – Maura Printed Straight Trouser
These pants are the same brand I received about a year ago and are SUPER lightweight and perfect for warmer weather. They look really good with the Market & Spruce top I received and I have other navy tops that I like with it. For my next Fix, I’m going to request anything other than navy so i can branch out a bit.
JESSICA HOWARD – Mona Lace Dress
I requested a dress for Mom 2.0, and I wanted something not navy. This dress was great. The lace was so pretty and it wasn’t overly warm, which was great for Texas. I think it’s a fun dress and I can’t wait to find other events to wear it.
So what’s the verdict? I kept all items. I’ve worn four of them, but the lace top wasn’t my favorite, so I found someone else who does love it. It didn’t make sense for me to send that top back since the discount was so great.
