The Best Time to Stock Up on Bath & Bedding

This weekend tends to be a busy shopping weekend for our family. We’re often purchasing our back to school items and clothes for the fall. With colleges returning in a few weeks, I also like to look at sales for bath linens and bedding. This weekend, save up to 60% during Macy’s One Day Sale! (and keep reading for giveaway information.)
I’m almost embarrassed to admit how long we’ve had at least one set of towels. (We’ve been married 14 years this fall, sooooo…..) Towels should be replaced every couple of years. I’m a little better with sheets, but I tend to replace them as they develop holes or thinning.
Since I do most of our laundry, I took inventory of what we have, what needs to be replaced and now I’m checking out the sales!
Bath & Bedding that Won’t Break the Bank
Sunham brand towels starting at $4.20
1400 thread count sheet sets (a Deal of the Day!)
We did receive towels last Christmas, but just a set of 4. We’re a family of 4, and I prefer to have at least 8 towels for us to use (so they can be washed and nobody is going towel-less!) I like to have at least 4 hand towels and even more than 8 washcloths in our linen closet.
For sheets, I keep at least two sets for each bed. They’re stored in everyone’s rooms, either in a bin under the bed or a bin in the closets. We upgraded my daughter’s bed this summer, so I’m looking for twin sheets for her. The same with my son, except his sheets are just getting older and more worn.
Pillows are constantly being changed out in our house, and we keep extras in vacuum sealed bags for guests.
