Day 12 – The fitness center at work. I can exercise (even a little bit) and I don’t have to be outdoors in the frigid temperatures.
Day 13 – Around 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, my husband sneezed. Through closed doors, I heard from my son’s room, “Dad!” to which dad replied, “yes, Lucas?” Lucas said, “Bless you, Daddy.” And then went quiet for a few more minutes until I went into his room to get him for the day. I don’t want to forget the sweet moments.
Day 14 – Puzzles. They entertain my son and work his brain. Win-win.
Day 15 – Craft stores. The toddler and I spent an hour in one, getting ideas. It was fun!
Day 16 – Breakfast with my small boy. I try to make sure I eat breakfast with him (even on days we’re rushing to daycare and work.) We chat and eat and it’s just sweet.
