that duo from ‘Once’

About two weeks ago, my husband mentioned there was someone coming to the Orange Peel that he really wanted to see. The fact that he wanted to see someone and he was willing to go made me very excited. When he told me it was Swell Season, I must have had a blank look on my face because he said, “the group from that movie, Once.” Oh yeah. Them. I LOVE them!

Tickets go on sale tomorrow. This morning I was checking my Facebook friend’s statuses (on my cell phone…I almost always check my Facebook page and Twitter messages on my phone before I actually get out of bed) and saw that one of my friends is going to see Swell Season and had bought her tickets already. Those friends live in Ohio…and I wondered if Swell Season sold the tickets on their site before they were for sale on the Orange Peel’s site. (I can almost guarantee this show will sell out.)

I found a password for the fan site, and bought our tickets. All before 6:30 a.m. Because I’m awesome.

I then swiped my husband’s CDs and brought them to work (because I had yet to put the albums on my iPod) and I’ve been listening to this a lot today:

I absolutely cannot wait for May 20. This is going to be a pretty great show.
