Things I’m Loving {May 2018}
I actually started writing this in May, with all intentions of publishing it in May….so I’m going to let the title of the post stand. Things I loved in May.
Now. I’m loving….
My Kindle Fire. I used it for my trip to LA a few weeks ago and it was amazing for watching movies. I’m planning to download a few kid shows to it in a couple of weeks for my son to use. I’m actually buying a portable DVD player for my daughter (with a remote so I can control it from the front seat – while I’m riding) for our trip.
Sandals, sandals, sandals. I received two pairs of flip flops from Tidewater Sandals just before Mom 2.0 and they’re so fun! One pair (Beach Haven) is kind of dressy, while the other pair was straight up FUN with their little cocktails on the straps. They were perfect for RoomCon and being poolside in Pasadena. I posted about them on Instagram when I was in California. They’re super cute, comfortable to wear, and the company is based in North Carolina! I’m also loving Jamberry on my toes. Random, right? But I gave them a shot in April, and the wraps lasted for over a month as a pedicure! I just re-did my toes, but I may choose another design before we head to New York in June. Also, I’m no longer selling Jamberry, but I do still wear the wraps constantly.
New music. I heard Jason Mraz’s new song and bought it a few days later. Have It All is basically on repeat when I’m in the car or at work. I’ve also added it to my running play list.
Our local baseball team. We saw them last weekend, and I can’t wait to go back to a game. It’ll be a few weeks since we’re traveling later this month, but I’m sure the wait will be worth it.
My garden! We had a bajillion inches of rain (actually over 20 in 15 days) and my garden is looking so green and GROWN! I don’t know how long the broccoli will last, and that’s ok. If I can get a couple of heads out of the six plants, I will call it a win. This is the first year I’ve tried broccoli, and I didn’t realize how quickly the worms would get the plants.

I love a lot of them but the one that caught my eye the most was “Gold Shells”. So adorable and beachy!
