this is how I like to spend my weekend
What a perfect weekend! Well, almost. Let’s start with the good stuff.
*music on Friday night.
*great new music to check out.
*nice run on Saturday morning (8 miles to listen to my great music!)
*great friends to hang out with
*new Harry Potter movie to watch
*checked out a new theater (newer to Asheville and brand new to us.)
*Worked in the yard just a little bit.
*played with the dogs (and the cat)
*our weather was in the 70s. And a little cloudy. It was next to perfect!
*hung out at home with the husband on Saturday night.
*watched Will & Grace (I have two seasons that were never opened – score for new TV on DVD to watch!)
*Only a little bit of housework has been done.
*There’s been a lot of sleeping this weekend.
And then it took a bad turn today at Sam’s Club, when we were looking at bread. A kid was navigating his parent’s shopping cart down the aisle, wasn’t paying attention, and plowed into my ankle. I went down pretty quickly. The parent said, “watch out son!” and they sped away. No real apologies or anything. I’m limping along now with a bruised and swollen ankle. There was also a loss of skin. It was made worse by the fact I was wearing sandals.
I’m looking to make it a good night. I’m cooking dinner and we’ll probably watch TV for a bit.
Pretty awesome weekend.
I’m sorry about your ankle!
