three things Thursday – #typeacon
1. Susanna and I are officially at the Type-A Conference. We arrived earlier this afternoon and left the husbands back home with the kiddos. I had to miss the conference last year, and I’m so excited at the learning possibilities this weekend. Oh and our travel from Asheville was one we documented on twitter and Instagram. It almost deserves it’s own blog post.
2. I’ve already run into “old” friends at the conference. This is the only blogging conference I’ve attended in the past, and I have met a ton of really fun, genuine people. The people interaction is one of my favorite parts of the conferences, but the sessions this year are going to be so helpful (especially in my current unemployed status.)
3. Not #typeacon related, but I get to see one of my most favorite friends, Bekki, tomorrow evening. I haven’t seen her in a few years (pre-baby) and since she lives in Atlanta, I made sure I had some time to devote to just time with her. It’s long overdue.
Have you ever attended a blogging conference? Are you at Type-A this weekend? (If you’re at the conference, LET ME KNOW so we can meet!)
Had a great run with you this morning Jamie. Sounds like you have a lot of great things in the works. Looking forward to a day at Type A. And I did go to a Bloggy Boot Camp in Charlotte this past May.
I heard about Bloggy Boot Camp too late, but I’m interested in going to that one too!
I didn’t know a “Type A” conference existed! Sounds perfect- haha! Have a great weekend a safe trip home!
It’s SO much fun! It was held in Asheville the first three years (I attended two of those years) and has moved around since then. I feel like these are “my people.”
have fun!!
