three things Thursday

(Thanks to Bari for reminding me that my blog posts don’t have to always be about the kiddo, and they can be short.)

Three things for today…

…the kiddo and I walked to my grandma’s house this afternoon to pick lettuce for our salads. It made me want to get my own garden planted asap. We’re going to work on that on Saturday (especially since I mowed the lawn the past two nights, so we don’t have to worry about doing that this weekend!)

…I folded several loads of laundry tonight – clothes that have been in baskets since before our weekend trip. Feels good to have them out of the way, but now I have one more basket of clothes to fold, and a load in the dryer as I type. It never ends.

…I’ve been working on some cloth books as one of my sewing projects. Maybe I’ll get one completed this weekend? I can’t wait to show them (it?) off!
